Hey Darcie! I'm glad to see some of your "nature" stuff. These are more like the photos that I enjoy taking the most. It is sometimes more gratifying for me to do these, because there isn't much I can do to manipulate the creation that I "capture", other than color effects, post-production. I love to do these types because I enjoy sharing with others, what they weren't there to see themselves, or from a perspective maybe they hadn't thought of, or seen from. This is far more gratifying to me than portraiture, (except when I get that "special" shot of a grandchild, or whomever!), maybe because I am "untrained". Good eye and keep working on these - you will be amazed at what you can come up with - especially when you make yourself stop and get that momentary shot, even though you don't think you have time, or as in the comment you made, the safety! I get SO bummed when I see something I want to capture, and haven't brought my camera along! I have never had a photography class or the likes, so for me it has always been trial and error, over time. I admire your work, and would like your input on some of my stuff some time. Keep up the expanding interest, and please keep showing us your new talents!! Deneen Martin (not sure if you remember who i am)
