I am finally getting some recent sessions up on my blog...I feel like it is full force with wedding season here!

This is little "I" she is the daughter of my designer. "I" is such a beautiful, intelligent, expressive child she is well loved and you can see the confidence she possesses as she toddles around.  I love every opportunity I get to photograph her! This session we photographed her in vintage dresses that was passed on to her, the first dress was worn by her grandmother and great-grandmother!  I love that!

I had the supreme pleasure of spending the morning with Daria from 105.1 the buzz and her boys.  It was so great to meet little Xander, he was a little firecracker, jumping all over the place.  We played and read books with mom, then daddy and Xander had some play time, we tried to take a bubble bath but Xander would have none of that because his momma was not in there with him!  So we ended our time snuggling in bed playing a game of "tickle feet"...what a great morning.  Thank you so much to Daria and Dallas for welcoming me into your home and capturing these precious moments with your family.

Two beautiful friends of mine were married at the Fort Vancouver Academy Chapel this winter and I am just getting them up on my blog.  Enjoy! There was so much beautiful emotion during the entire wedding, I shed many tears, I am so happy for the two of them to be starting their lives together.

I've been challenged lately to just shoot for myself, for the love of the art...it's been producing some lovely shots, it pushes me to learn even more about my craft. To study light in a new way and to be able to express my heart in an image, hope you enjoy as well!

Lately I have been photographing a lot of stuff "just for me"  it's therapeutic.  I love being out in nature gaining perspective on my tiny life.  I can look at these magnificent tree's that have lived so much longer than I and I feel closer to my Creator.  Enjoy some of the winter sites I was able to see recently.

I spent the a few days this week, up with my mom in central Oregon.  She lives
by this abandoned train depot and when my dog woke me up to take her out
to the bathroom i saw the most amazing morning sky and grabbed my camera &
literally ran over to the station and captured as many images as i could in those
perfect dawn moments. They last for but a moment, but the sky being lit up by all
those incredible colors takes your breath away.



This is the only mountain range I know the name of, this one is Sisters.











When I was driving home I saw this amazing sight and again, was compelled to stop
and capture the raw beauty of the landscape. I love it's untamed, untouched perfection.





This is a spot along my drive back up to Mount Hood that I
see every time i go and without fail i yearn to stop and
photograph this spectacular site.  Well yesterday
i decided to brave the small shoulder on the highway and stop! 
It was well worth it!
